31 Day Challenge 2015: Monochromatic

Hello beauts!
I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this challenge, it's just what I needed to kick off this year - the year where nails are my focus... Every day of the new year so far has nails, nails and more nails! Whether it's organising my nail room, writing blog posts, planning blog posts, painting my nails or studying; it's all about the nails. Happy as a pig in poop lol, and I've never felt so motivated!
Today's look is one I am really digging and something I have been meaning to do with my OPI sheer tints for the longest time, I bought this stamping plate for precisely this design too...

Another easy mani, in fact I must remind myself to make this look much harder than it really is haha ;) Two coats of white for the base followed by stamping five different areas of the MoYou explorer plate in black. Once dry I used a small brush and dotting tool to fill in some random details with the sheer tints and topcoated.

The finished mani is both bold and delicate, surely a contradiction but it's true and I love it... I do seem to have a habit of smudging my pinky finger lately though grrr. The sheer tints will be coming out in force for me this spring/summer I think, so versatile - I can't wait to play with them over glitter etc!

Barry M: Matte White, Avon: Licorice, OPI: I'm Never Amberrrassed, Be Magentale With Me, Don't Violet Me Down, Color Club: Topcoat, MoYou London Explorer 22, Avon Dual Tool

Did you notice the new look watermark? Think it's much more in keeping with my blog than the courier style, but I haven't got used to it yet!

Check out what the other ladies did with this theme below...
