GOT Polish Challenge: Stripes

Thursday, 16 January 2014

Can't believe we're halfway through January already! And time for the second mani in the GOT series... I was feeling a little uninspired by stripes if I'm honest, so I browsed through my plates and remembered that I had nice a criss-cross knitted pattern on the hills of my new Fairytale Plate :) So I combined that with some of my favourite bright shades. Excuse the slightly dodgy thumb, it was my first go with a new squishy stamper - which I LOVE... look out for a 'stamping special' post in the near future for more on that!

I did two thin coats of each colour, stamped in black and then topcoated. Simple as that. Each of these polishes are just about a year or more old. These were some of the first Colorshow shades I tried and I fell in love; so much so, that I bought 20 or so (I now have a total of 30) in the recent 3 for 2 offers in Boots and Superdrug lol! They paint great, stamp great and dry fast! BIG FAN!

Loving this pattern... balls of wool :)

Oops, half asleep! I forgot to include the black polish in this picture - it was Avon Licorice!

  2. I love how much these turned out like yarn! I wouldn't have expected the plate to be a full image plate from MoYou. I've been wondering how people use the big plates like that ^_^;;
