AIS Stamping Sunday: Butterflies & Dragonflies

So Sunday is here again and the theme decided for this week in the Adventures in Stamping group was Butterflies & Dragonflies... Unfortunately at the moment I only have one set of plates so I only had one image to go for :( a pair of butterflies, one large and one small. I decided I would use the images over and over, together and individually to build up a more patterned design. I started with three coats of the pale blue from Sinful Colors, which has a lovely pink shimmer to it. That took quite a while to dry... Once it had, I used a purple to stamp the butterflies repeatedly; this process wasn't easy or quick lol, but I was pretty happy with the result :) I was intending to layer pink butterflies over the top but after spending a fair chunk of time on this mani already, I plumped for a Sally Hansen glitter topcoat I picked up in Poundland the other day; it's a lovely fine holo glitter in a clear base. Pretties!
